Doctrine and Covenants 64:33-34

"Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great. Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind."

I watched the YW Face to Face today and was so inspired by the unique goals each girl chose for the challenge to do 150 of something. It was powerful to see the good we can do when we choose to do our unique part


We don’t have to do it all, just what we are inspired to do. I loved this song so much!! Especially the line about doing the work assigned to me. "Till the work that He gave me is done"


I love Jesus Christ and know He is my Savior and I will do the work He has given me. It won't be perfect because I am not finished yet but I won't give up!!

  There is much in the world right now that is polar opposite. The politics and the media are thriving on dividing and conquering the masses through messages of panic and paranoia. It is such a terrorism tactic.  In my own family there are people I love on both sides of the aisle and I can see the seed of truth on both sides but see how it has been magnified and blown all out of proportion to become something false and frightening. As I have been thinking about it I have prayed and pondered often what the Lord thinks about it all. That portion of Humanity

Jesus the perfect leader- Pres Kimball I love this quote and the reminder that everyone we come in contact with is "our portion of humanity" we have a stewardship to love and bless. Especially those we run into when we are doing something else. Small and simple things

  Alma 37:6 Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. I love this scripture and the idea that goes with it that small actions can change our lives. I know that this is true and real. I have seen it work over and over again in my life. Some Small things I have a testimony of - Prayer it doesn't take much time or effort, it doesn't cost any money anyone can do it for free. No matter where you are or even in your thoughts you can pray but huge miracles are wrought through prayer. It is a powerful small thing and I know it works!! -Scripture study, The power that flows into my life when I make time to study and ponder the words of God is immeasurable.
